beautifully painted forton castings of Rosetta's large "On
the Alert" sculpture were unveiled on July 4, 2005, in
Durango, CO. The project, entitled "Pumas on Parade",
was presented by the San Juan Mountain Association (SJMA) to raise
funds for their educational activities. It has blossomed into a
spectacular coming together of nine of the towns in the beautiful
mountain country of Southwest Colorado. The Pumas made a huge hit
and are now located in public places throughout the nine Southwest
Colorado towns where they are delighting members of the public who
can view them before they are auctioned off to raise funds. |
