"Three wolves running together; Courage, Strength, Wisdom. As a child, my Grandmother told me of the huge Russian wolves in her home country. The wolves in North America fill me with the same awe as the ones in my Grandmother's stories. Troika is a Russian horse hitch with three horses together, one facing forward, one to the left and the other to the right. With this piece I honor my Grandmother, her courage, strength and wisdom." - Karryl

The sculpture "Troika" is mounted on a contoured wood base. A turntable is inserted into the wood to enable the sculpture to rotate completely around.
