David E. Bagwell was an industry mentor and leader, the Charles Award and Edna L. Emme International Medallion recipient, the former NCA president and U.S.A. hairdressing team manager, and the creator of numerous NCA programs.

The above bas relief is located at the National Cosmetology Association Hall of Fame.
