Blair
Buswell's larger than lifesize bronze sculpture of golf legend Jack
"The Golden Bear" Nicklaus was unveiled on Tuesday, April
4, 2000. The sculpture, sponsored by "The Augusta Chronicle,"
is part of the permanent collection of the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame,
located at Augusta Golf & Gardens in Augusta, GA.
The "Jack Nicklaus" Monument depicts Jack's celebration
after a birdie on the No. 17 hole at Augusta National Golf Club on
April 13, 1986. The shot gave him the lead and, ultimately, his sixth
Masters championship. |
